Profile: Pauline “Paulsy” Bolton

Sport: Speedway – RSA Street Stockers | Activity: Driver

This mum decided that she needed a little extra “me time”, and sitting on the hill watching everyone else race just wasn’t going to be enough. So after another racer told her to “just get in there and drive it like you stole it” back in 2012, she never looked back.

Even though it takes Pauline up to 4 hours to travel from her home town in Cooma to the race track, this doesn’t stop her from competing twice a month. Her friends and family think she’s mad, but Paulsy is just happy doing what she is currently doing.

“Every race I prove something new to myself.”

Even after a big roll over back in Moruya in 2017, Pauline hasn’t quit racing. It took her a couple of years to get back into the drivers seat, but she took a leaf out of her own motto book … If you don’t don’t lose, you don’t learn.

So with a confidence boost from her co-driver and best friend, Lenny Dixon, she got back into the driver’s seat of her EL Falcon, and in her spare time she is working on a second car for Lenny to drive – as they currently share #11.

Please don’t forget to also support Paulsy’s sponsors who makes it possible for her to enjoy her sport;
Mainstreet clothing, Just Tyres, Cooma Steering & Suspension, Cooma auto electrics.
