The 2017 Polaris Australian ATV & Sidecar MX Championship was held at Murray Bridge Motorcycle Club on the weekend of the 30 September – 1 October this year and Brooke Hollins was lucky enough to be able to enter and race there.

It was a big change from the usual competitions she had previously raced in her home state of Western Australia.
Brooke was excited and nervous to come face to face with the best riders in Australia at this prestigious event.
Brooke was competing in both the 7 to under 11 years Limited Class on board her Honda 90cc quad and the 8 to under 12 years Modified Class riding her Cobra 90cc quad.
Brooke can’t thank her sponsors enough for getting behind her and she did them all proud as she finished the day on the top step of the podium in number 1 position in the Limited Class and was surprised to also earn the same position in the Modified Class after a tense wait on the count back.
At the end of the competition Brooke was crowned the Australian Champion in both the 7 to under 11 years Limited Class and 8 to under 12 years Modified Class. She is also the first female to ever win dual national titles in these classes and hopes she won’t be the last.
Congratulations Brooke on your wins!
