This is a graphic reminder of why you need to wear and have the best safety gear when racing! I had a major suspension failure at Morgan Park in Queensland yesterday while I was driving.
Replay it after watching the first time and see what happens to my neck. I wear a neck n head restraint with side impact protection as you can see when I get out of the car. The breakage was fairly violent and you can see what happened to my neck….. imagine what could have happened if I wasn’t wearing one?
Bear in mind I didn’t hit anything. Think about it……
